Signage Contractors

• Both Vendors accept our Purchasing Credit Card for payment
• Rixstine offers one option of signs while ASI Sign Systems offers 3 options/prices for most of their signs
• Each of ASI's three options vary slightly in quality and appearance. A more specific description of both Rixstine and ASI's signs follows this paragraph
• All meet the University's specifications
• Users should contact the Signage Contractors if they wish to see samples of the signs

Rixstine:

• Sign is 1/16" thick with 1/32" raised characters with engraved braille
• Non permanent rooms will have vinyl lettering.

ASI:

1. Emboss characters and braille are constructed from a .010" thick vacuum PVC sign face with matte finish. The sign face is laminated to a .125" thick black backer.
2. Intact prefinished 3/32" thick acrylic plaque prefinished colors, raised characters 3/64" thick braille applied directly to the surface of the face.
3. Intact painted: acrylic plaque painted subsurface finish, raised characters and braille applied directly to the surface of the sign face.

Rate per Hour for Signage Planner

Hourly rate for the contractor's signage planner shall be negotiated with the contractor.

Removable Lettering

• Contact Printing Services for the printing and installation of removable vinyl lettering on glass, signs, etc.
• For the cost of the vinyl lettering per line, contact Printing Services. A line consists of 3/4" high lettering in less than 10 inch length
